Trance came out of German techno in the early nineties and filled the big rooms by the end of the decade — Paul van Dyk's For an Angel, Robert Miles's Children, Faithless's Insomnia, then Tiësto, Ferry Corsten and ATB. Psytrance took another road, from the Goa beach parties to today's full-on and forest scenes, and the crates keep its elders close: Raja Ram, Eat Static, Hallucinogen.

Wa3 spreads it across the Electronic channel's day. Spaceship takes the late morning with long uplifting journeys, MixFM brings back the anthems in the afternoon, Hyperspace turns to full-on psytrance in the early evening, and Zanonesque goes deep and psychedelic, mostly after midnight — Sumiruna, KOBI, Merkaba, Sensient. All of it mixed as continuous sets, for the road, the gym or a long night.
