طَرَب

Tarab is the long-form classics show: Umm Kulthum, Warda, Mayada El Hennawy, the compositions of Baligh Hamdi — full-length recordings, not radio edits, because tarab needs the time. Twenty-four hours a week on Arabica, mostly at the hours when the house is quiet.

Arabica is one of the channels of Wa3, the one for Arabic music — tarab and the classics, Lebanese and Egyptian pop, mahraganat, dabke and Arabic rap, with hosts from across the region. Every channel is a separate round-the-clock stream with its own line-up: switch between them in the player.

To listen, open the player and press play — no app, no account, free. طَرَب is on at the times below; outside them the channel keeps streaming its other shows, and you can tune in from any player with the MP3 stream.
