About House & melodic house
House radio, live from Paris: melodic and deep house every morning on Xperience and at lunchtime on House Drops, on Wa3's Electronic channel. Ben Böhmer, HVOB, Stavroz and NTO at the emotional end, the warm drums of DJ Seinfeld, Jeigo and Pretty Girl at the other — built as sets, mixed with the station's own crossfades and DJ blends. Free, no account.
House began in Chicago in the early eighties, named after the Warehouse, the club where Frankie Knuckles played, and Wa3 keeps a few of its landmarks — his Whistle Song, Todd Terry's club mix of Everything But The Girl's Missing. Most of the crate is the house of now: the melodic, emotional side of Ben Böhmer, HVOB, NTO and Stavroz, and the warm, dusty drums of DJ Seinfeld, Mall Grab and Chaos In The CBD.
Wa3 plays it by day on the Electronic channel. Xperience fills the mornings with melodic and deep house, and House Drops comes in at lunchtime with an hour of Pretty Girl, Jeigo, SWIM and Will Silver. Both are built as sets, mixed with the station's own crossfades and DJ blends — good company for working, cooking or a slow start to the day.

Questions
- Is Wa3 a 24/7 house radio?
- Not all day: Wa3 is a full station with several channels. House plays every day on the Electronic channel — Xperience in the morning, House Drops at lunchtime (Paris time); each show's page has the hours. The rest of the day the channel moves on to trance, drum and bass, ambient and, at night, techno.
- What is melodic house?
- House with melody and mood up front: slower builds, long chords, emotional hooks, often close to techno in its sound. Ben Böhmer, HVOB, NTO and Stavroz are the names Wa3's crate leans on.
- Can I listen to Ben Böhmer radio online?
- Yes: Ben Böhmer is one of the mainstays of Wa3's house crate, with HVOB, NTO and Paul Kalkbrenner — free, no account, in any browser, on the Electronic channel.
- Which Wa3 shows play House & melodic house?
- Xperience, House Drops — see each show's page for its days and times (Paris).
- How do I listen to House & melodic house?
- Press “Listen” on this page: it opens wa3.live on the Electronic channel, in any browser on phone or computer — free, no account. Wa3 also streams as plain MP3 for radio apps.
