World music radio, live from Paris: Ali Farka Touré, Orchestra Baobab and Bob Marley on Atlas, and folk from Armenia to India in the mornings. Siddhartha heads east to Hariprasad Chaurasia and Ravi Shankar, and Bayt al-Ḥikmah keeps the small hours for sufi music and Djivan Gasparyan's duduk — free, on Wa3's Random channel.

Wa3's world crates start in Mali: Ali Farka Touré's desert blues and his duets with Toumani Diabaté's kora, Oumou Sangaré, Rokia Traoré, Amadou & Mariam. From there to Dakar with Orchestra Baobab, to the Congolese rumba of Franco and Grand Kallé, and to Jamaica: Bob Marley & The Wailers, Bunny Wailer, Dawn Penn, Damian Marley's Welcome To Jamrock.

Atlas carries most of it, in the afternoons and evenings. The mornings are quieter: Folklorique, with Ali Akbar Khan's sarod and the kora, oud and valiha of Ballaké Sissoko, Driss El Maloumi and Rajery; Siddhartha's ragas, bansuri and santoor; and Armenian Folk, a show of its own. Bayt al-Ḥikmah, the House of Wisdom, keeps the small hours for sufi music and Djivan Gasparyan's duduk.
