Frequencies is built from wa3 tracks, the crate that carries the station's name: IDM and melodic electronica, the strand of electronic music made for headphones as much as for dance floors, with intricate drum programming and small, bright melodies. Spark, CHEjU, Sunosis, Transient, Marumari and 7oi are its backbone, with King Q4, Omyiga, Frog Pocket, Skoud, The Bionaut and múm alongside.

It goes out on Wa3's Electronic channel with UFO in the last hours before dawn, Paris time, every night. It suits whoever is awake then — night shifts, early trains, long drives, the end of a night out — and makes a slow way into the morning, from Marumari's Birch Beer Forest to CHEjU's Lammergeyer and Transient's Moments In Slow Motion.
